Is anyone else concerned about the amount of powder suppliers closing up shop right now? I think it could lead to higher prices and increased scamming down the road.
Changes on the horizon, sources drying up.

It will result in smaller powder buyers being told that their supplier is out of business, but the major labs will have no problems.
HomeBrewing will stop for the most part, smaller UGs will go out of business, and the major UGs will be unaffected. Powder will simply go out the back door instead of the front now. No biggie.

I talk to the president of china all the time and he says we have nothing to worry about. he juices himself, it's why he's still so short.

When he got busted, this got a lot of attention. However it doesn't even look at this point like the guy will get jail time. They confiscated his cash and let him out of jail, without being charged

I'm just messin with you bro, but it was really only a matter of time before something happened, several people "called this" a while back. It is inevitable that any illegal trade will have hiccups. No one called anything, people made a guess and they were right this time. I'm making the same "guess" that soon the illegal trade will go back to how it was a few years back.

The founder of BD actually told me that he saw this coming, and then I did the research into different stuff, including Gary Wadler's (Of the World Anti-Doping Agency's) assertion that most illegal/ug/black market steroids got their start in China at some point... and I then saw that China had began a campaign to clean up their act (no spitting on the street, signs now have english/chinese on them, queueing and courtesy commercials on TV, etc...)...and steroids were going to be next because of the Olympic games.
I "called" it, not based on information from the internet discussion boards, or by a "guess" but rather from information from people in that country, combined with information I got from the Wall Street Journal, the NY Times, and the Economist....Information about how China wants to increase their tourism and not have any scandals during or before the Olympic games, and stuff like that...
So yes, it was a guess...but not the B.S. shot in the dark "this is too good to last" kind of guess, but one where I am able to trace the actual causality and make a prediction. I make predictions, not guesses...that's the point.
That's why I saw it coming...
Wanna know who is going to pick up the slack for Chinese production of powder? India, most likely.
I didn't make a vague guess...I can trace the route causes, and did, at the time, before any of this happened. You know what I mean?

I still say relax, all of you..........there's way too much fucking demand here in this country for gear, despite our governments best assertions........so people are going to find a way. I'm intriqued by the idea of synthesizing your own powders........this could be the next big thing. Sure it requires some capital startup.......but in a few years I might be flush enough AND have access to a laboratory to do this......and I've never been a source, so imagine the guys that have been at this for decades.......they probably are already setting things up as we speak.

I don't totally agree. Remember, there's options to UG labs. I don't forsee tons popping up, I forsee human-grade taking over.

When you (we, whatever) brag about how the feds will never be able to truly fuck up the UG market, you just motivate them more to do so. Remember, the 2-3 biggest powder guys just went down within a month in China, and somewhere, a federal agent just "pwned" all the guys who said it would never happen.
