cartoon dream

I had a whole dream that was cartoon-like last night. I've never had a cartoon dream before. it was strange.

there was a loveable little cartoon guy who was very sad who kept falling down waterfalls. he would fall down one waterfall, and he would say sad things (I cant remember but like eyore style on winnie the pooh) and then at the end of the dream he finally found a rock to hold on to. Then the rock broke away and he was actually on top of a cartoon statue of liberty who was crumbling. then he fell to his death.

Weird huh?

Then right after that I had a dream i almost cheated on my husband with an exboyfriend. I wanted to cheat so bad! lol. I told him I couldnt because I couldnt cheat while I was married. I cant even cheat in a dream! the stange part was that I wanted to cheat. Like I didnt love my guy in my dream. I felt bad when I woke up. lol. not too bad though.

just thought I'd share. I am aware that no one cares.

I'm not a psychotherapist, and moreover since due to schoolwork I haven't had any sleep and feel like the little dude who could find safe ground, but the whole dream sounds like just an instinctual yearning to be free again... harmless... I mean you know you love your husband, and love is made only stronger through self sacrifice... I dunno my take could be wac... but you felt bad when you woke up from the harmless weird dream so thats the important thing... it not being concurrent with reality.

I have some vivid dreams too, in fact for a while I had bouts of sleep paralysis where I would wake up and still be dreaming! that was pretty cool/scary all at the same time. I thought i was dealing with actual spirits/demons until I looked it up on the internet.

I have dreams where I almost cheat on my husband all the time. Like a couple times a month. Its always with the same guy, one time it was with a random black guy (lol!) sooo I dunno.

The sleep paralysis is the worst, I can't think of a more terrifying experience... that used to happen to me and I'm not sure why one automatically thinks that a witch is casting spells on them, but thats what I thought too... I mean sense it made not at all... then there was the accompanying fear that someone would come into the room and harm you while you couldn't move... I'm glad that shit doesn't happen anymore...

when this happens why cant I be dreaming a nice dream, with smiles and rainbows and unicorsn and all that? why does it have to be the stuff that horror movies are made from?!?! lol

The worst part is I didn't see any of them, but felt their presence... Man thats fucked up bout you not being able to sleep on your back, the worst part of that shit is you get paranoid when you are drifting off into sleep like oh great, another dose of ritualistic terror... I haven't had that shit happen in years... I wouldn't wish that upon my worst enemy...
