cardio question

i am looking to drop some body fat....obviously.... but i am wondering how much cardio should i do and can i do while maintaining my gains......how many times a week and for how long does anyone do cardio for.......just need some opinions....

nelson is there any type of lifting routine you would recommend while trying to cut up without the use of aerobics... im not sure but i think you have said in the past that the old school high volume routines work better at this.. something about looking at the old school bb's and how they lifted all the time and did 0 cardio and got ripped...

or do you think its just diet with a solid lifting routine...

thanks

Dial T0ne: The low BF of todays pros has NOTHING to do with cardio. It's high dosages of roids, clen, T3, diuretics and about a dozen other drugs.

Look through the mags from the 60's. Some of those gys had abs that would put most BB's today to shame. And they had them year 'round!

I get more specifically into training for fat burning in my book but the essence of it training in a more rapid, continual fashion with less rest in-between sets.

dial tone / nelson thank you very much for the input

right now i lift 4x a week and do some cardio but not much and i really dont like it.. my fav cardio now is hitting the heavy bag i know this my be a bit to intense at times but its still calories

1 get at least 1gram of protien per lb of weight (min)

i take in between 800-600 less calories than "maintenance" level body weight x 15

i hope this is going to work well for me

thanks again
