Just want to know if it's best to do cardio (say hiit) in a morning on empty whilst trying to cut or would it be better to have some food first ?

HIIT is ghey.
if by ghey you mean, changing speed and intensity to challenge yourself, by going fast then slow, tricking your body into burning more calories since it can not achieve steady state. Then yea i guess it is ghey lol

Thanks for your reply :)

I've never stopped to carefully read the theory behind why intense cardio on an empty stomach is supposedly more effective at burning bodyfat, but I tried it once. Twice actually.

I not only had lousy energy during the cardio itself, but felt drained until I eaten both breakfast and lunch. Only then did I feel I recouped the energy I had when I had gotten out of bed.

I was the same way when I was younger; now I like it better. The fact that you have a hard time with it means your body is too used to having carbs available as fuel...all the more reason to to make the change.

Interesting discussion. My entire lower body is naturally heavily muscled and I dont think I gain fat with particular ease, so I suppose I'm closest to a meso. Perhaps I'll give this a try.

its seems with every article i read, there are opposing views... i.e this article says cardio on an empty stomach is nonsense... others say its the way forward..
do you think its really case of whats right for you or me, or someone out there is right? :worried:
