captains of crush question

i recently bought cheap everlast grippers about a month ago. im unsure of how much resistance the grippers have but i can close it 70 times in each hand. im lookin to buy COC gripper but have no idea if i can jump right to a no.2 or start out with the no.1.

any advice.

thanks

I doubt you will be able to close the no.2 just because you used the everlast ones. Most people start with the trainer or at most the no.1. But, ya never know, maybe you have freaky strong grip.

Trainer is 100 lbs.
No. 1 is 140 lbs.
No. 2 is 195 lbs.

Even many that have spent time in the gym can have trouble with a 1.
On the other hand, they're only $20. It'd be better to re-invest in a lower rating than struggle uselessly with one that's too hard.

Buy all three. You will probably move from trainer to No. 1 in a few weeks. The No. 2 is no joke. The only people I have seen close the No. 2 the first time have jobs that require lots of manual labor. The No. 3 is a different animal.

i bought the #1 first. great investment because i couldn't close it, but i closed it within days (i was very cocky, i thought because i worked out, i could easily close it). then i bought the #2 and the trainer. I can finally close the #2 after a while of training with it and the #3 is getting closer :). IMO, buy the 1 (definitely), 2 (definitely), and 3 (good for overcrushes) and maybe the trainer for warming up. all depends on how strong you want your crushing grip to become.
