Seriously though, what do you want in a car? Speed, room, haul stuff, comfort, what?
 
Mini Cooper. BMW makes them and they have more room than you'd think. Impreza 2.5 RS. If there is snow where you live, the AWD is nice. The 2.5l engine is reasonably easy to make faster than a WRX if you're into tuning. You're younger, so I'm trying to remember the kinds of cars I liked when I was younger.

something cheap on fuel, so that your fuel bill doesnt cut into your party budget. like a corolla.

i drove my sisters corolla for a month. cut my fuel bill in half. i was sickened
 
Base Toyota Celica and then customize it as you get the money.
 
Buy a Honda. You can't go wrong. Great customer service and high quility automobiles.

You can save a ton if you buy used. I suggest an accord V6.

go toyota, nissan or honda. You'll have to get the base car for that price but you can upgrade later.

Toyota no longer offers any "sporting" vehicles in America. The Supra, Celica, and MR2 are all gone. Nothing but 4-door sedans and trucks. The only coupes they still offer are the Camry Solara and the Scion Sc.
 
i love the features in the civic for the price, but the front looks gay. i might suck it up and get the civic

really? I think the new front looks good, I was just in front of one earlier. The new civic type r concept is bad ass. To me it's the new gen. CRX.

well most "type r" style cars aren't going to have luxury type stuff that most cars, but they may be able to add them on when you buy it. It's pretty much made to be more of a better performing car.

The more new Civics I see, the less I like the styling. I think careful choice of color would be required to mitigate its oddness.

The Type R won't be brought to America, that model is just for Europe. We won't be getting the hatch body style at all.

There are renewed rumors that they will be doing a proper new CRX though.

Me? I've still got a '91 CRX. I can't find anything else that suits my needs quite as well. There aren't many 2-seat hatchbacks around.

Actually I've sorta been kinda looking for one. But 944s are getting pretty old now, and Porsche maintenance is expensive, even though the 944 is a reliable car.

damn, you're right. I went back and reread that article, but I could have sworn that it said it was coming to the states. Oh well, figures.

Yeah i've heard those CRX rumors too. They def. need to come out w/ a new one. I love my 91 but i'm a little gun shy to get back in and drive it after the motor shit the bed. I've still got to get my throw out bearing put in and might go ahead and just get a new clutch while i'm at it. after that I may drive it....idk.

not sure of the price, but the TC actually looks pretty cool. I saw one at the Toyota dealership yesterday. I wouldn't buy it personally (i'm looking for something with more balls) because it only has 160 ponies, but i'm sure in a car that small it's not bad.

you can also go to scion's website and build one with everything you want and get a price.
 
the new civics are really nice , especially the 2 door. plus you cant go wrong with Honda reliablilty

Toyotas are great cars but they are boring and ugly.
