I posted this in the "Clubs, Bars, and Circuit Parties" forum, but frorider6 suggested to post this here since there is much more traffic, Anyway, here goes...
I have been tossing and turning about this dilemma for years and I wanted to get some first-hand advice from you club-dwelling ladies.
I used to go to clubs in New York City all the time, Factory, Twilo, the Tunnel, you name it, so I've seen all walks of young life from bony chicks to juice-head idiots, but lately I've taken a break from it. Recently, I've been wondering about how we really look in the eyes of other people as opposed to the way we see ourselves in the mirror.
For example, when I see a chick who obviously starves herself in an attempt not gain weight (Anorexia), and as a result destroys her overall look in the process, I get chills up and down my spine. It is not very attractive. The point is that you see this chick in one light, but she sees herself in another; she actually thinks she looks good.
So, my analogy now shifts over to the male aspect. I know a lot of guys on this board use anabolic steriods, and I'll admit that I am one of them. So I'm wondering if girls view guys that are obviously on steriods as people who are obsessed with their bodies in the same manner as guys view anorexic chicks that are obsessed with their bodies.
The reason I'm asking is because whenever I go out, I have a feeling that I scare girls with my build. Not that I'm overly massive, I'm only 5"5', 170, 26 years old, single
, but none of my shirts fit me right and it's obvious to people that look at me that my build is not natural. I mean, I'm not a freak, and I dont want to be one either.
When I look at myself in the mirror, I'm happy with the way I look, but that's *me* and my opinion. I dont think that I am extreme in any way, or perhaps I am? I dont know, but you girls can judge for yourself, I've included a pic that you can see below.
So, I was just wondering at what point does it become too extreme on a guys build which back-fires on them and actually makes them look unattractive? That's all I'd like to know. Because if it comes down to it, I'll go back to being a puny 140lb dork
