Can hgh help dabetics?

My older brother is insulin dependent diabetic. He's heard hgh helps diabetics heal better, use less insulin, etc.. His doctor said he would prescribe him some if my brother brings some legitament medical documents to prove this. My brothers doctor has no idea what applications there are for hgh. I would appreciate some help.

I have read mixed reviews on this subject....some say it makes it worse, while others say it helps the internal organs function much better....

I have a friend that is an insulin dependent diabetic and uses HGH. He usually ups his insulin when on it and says it does wonders for him. But he weight trains and it may only be beneficial for him putting on muscle, so as for any other applications as The Ranger said I'm not sure. Since all the various hormones in the body are balanced and related that his insulin deficiency would have some impact on IGF-1 levels. Not sure though.
