calf injection pain

First cycle, 500mg / wk of sus I'm injecting. I'm about 2 weeks in now. I did the glutes twice each, was a little sore after. This time I rotated to the my calf. It felt fine yesterday, the day of the injection, but I woke up this morning with it very stiff and painful.

I wiped the vial off with 90% isopropyl, and my injection site. I warmed the syringe, injected into a warmed up muscle (about an hour after playing basketball), and massaged the site afterwards. It didn't feel like I hit a nerve or anything. No blood during aspiration. The site looks fine, no odd colors, redness or anything like that. Pain doesn't seem to be limited to the site, it hurts a few inches around in all directions.

Did I miss something, or is this normal? Maybe high BA content or the prop in the sus? Use different sites? thanks!

If you gonna inject calves do only the outer part of the muscle. I greatly respect what Hayez says but I hit that part of my calves routinly with no issues. All else you did is spot on bro.

Did it once kind of sketchy but like zed said if you hit the outer part with a 1'' you are fine, I do have big calves tho prob helps with size.

I did the injection on the outer part as per one of the injection websites. Seemed fine until about the next morning.

About 72 hours later (yesterday) it started puffing up like a balloon and the skin turned all red. Today my right foot/calf looks about twice the size of my left! But the pain has gone away even though the swelling is still bad.

Oh well, no pain no gain.
