just bc u make money does not mean u blow it just bc u can... smart ppl become wealthy ... millionaires come and go

what exactly do you need your phone to do for your business?

emails, surf forex new, run currency pair applications for charts etc..

i know the i phone does this well..

the question is have these ppl created a phone comparable

I think the closest phone is the new Motorola Droid from verizon. I watched a video review comparing the 2, and they were fairly close in comparison.

thanks bro im thinking of just buying a used iphone 3g and with an open card so i can have it hooked up at sprint

I was considering getting an open iphone,
I'm not totally satisfied with the beri beri

Droid is better, I've toyed around with my brothers iPhone and Droid. His iPhone/AT&T dropped way too many calls is why he made the switch, the coverage in general sucked.

Why is the iphone better? I'm having an internal debate between the two right now too.

i have never seeen anything as good as the iphone as far as running program applications etc... its like being on a pc...

no other phone compares.... thats why i was wondering if this new google droid is comparable before i go spend money on an iphone and i already have an upgrade credit with sprint

I've heard the new droid is comparable and even better in some ways (where iphone is better in a couple of others). I like the slide out querty keyboard too. Hate the iphones touch keyboard.

Iphone is crap, because the service is crap... Travel on the highway and out of cities, you're droppig calls non-stop. Unless your stationary in a work place, it's a bad business phone

I've been on Tmobile, Atnt (w/iphone) and now Verizon (droid)... For the extra buck Verizon service is noticably better compared to the comp, Droid is a great phone, faster surfing than my old Iphone and it's alot easier to browse. The thng is you get sucked into getting all the features because it's so tasky, i'm spending $150 a month just on Verizon but it's worth it

I still say the Palm Treo was the best biz phone ever, windows compaible and sync

U can't run an iPhone on sprint by the way...

iPhone > everythig else

trust me

This is half true. The iphone is better in every way (Dont hate cuz you live in a black hole puddle). I talk on my iphone non stop driving and RARELY drop a call. Verizon around DC is no better.

You can jailbreak an iphone and use it on any gsm based company that uses sim cards. Sprint T-Mobil etc. Verizon is cdma so it will never work.

Its easier on the iphone. Unless you have really small fingers. Every time i hit a letter i'd hit three letters at once on my old phone so id never use the keyboard. Took me like 2 hrs to get use to my iphone. I can text/email ten times faster on a touch screen over a hard qwerty keyboard...

Oh and you can access this forum on an app for iphone (Im just to cheap to pay the 1.99 for the app)

Ask around, business forums, sales folks. The Iphone is a media phone, it is not a business phone, it's not business tasky.

The only people i've met that say they like the Iphone are people that went from a basic flip phone and got the Iphone when it blew up, or people that just browse and text. Ofcourse they think the Iphone kicks ass, they don't know any better

And flashing over a phone makes reception worse, i'm almost 100% sure the atnt and tmobile phones won't flash services. Verizon cells can but once you flash the phone you can't go back to it's original service. Cells are made specifically to pick up their service towers

depends on what industry/sector you are working in. I dont know about financials, but the iphone is excellent for medicine. Residency programs and large practices used to issue physicians pda's and blackberries. Now nearly every one is issued an ipod touch/iphone. I've owned 3 windows mobile phones (with custom rom's), an android phone, and now an iphone 3gs. None of the previous phones even came close. I've got 10 apps that I use regularly at work on my iphone, 6 of which were not available on windows or android. It's all relative broski's.

i dont' know any business execs who own iphones. iphones shitty national coverage and exorbirant fees are well-known and document in iphone-angry customer rants around th4e internet.

I'm just waiting til the cell wars are over and there's a clear winner. Until then, i'm happy with my 8 year old phone :)

Bro, you're a millionaire now? Sweet!!! I had an Iphone but Blackberry messenger sells a Blackberry

For our Biz an Iphone works great. We can actually trade live with full access to charts and such using some of the secure apps our broker offers

iPhone works great for business applications. I hate AT&T service but Verizon isn't going to help you in Europe or Asia.
