I have a bottle of 1971 McCallan Elegancia sitting on my counter that is open, and has been untouched since before the new year. A reminder of personal needs rather than personal wants.

I have some beer & some White Ziff in the fridge that needs to go.

So following the lead of the Ghede the Great - I too will raise that 16 oz bottle of Cystal Light Raspberry Ice on high in honor of the betoothed, floppy eared one.

... I also dumped out the 2 bottles of red wine on the counter ...down the DRAIN ... No one but me will drink them ... and right now, alcohol is NOT in my cards...

Were they open?? Did they go bad?? THAT my dear, is alcohol abuse!! Next time, send them to me.....

It's going SO WELL I don't want to break it!!! BUT I do anticipate a little indulgence very soon...which will be nothing less than purrrrfect … then of course, BACK AT IT

You are right though ... any sign of emotional weakness & both bottles could be gone.. easily ... I am very proud that is no longer the case.
