Bulk Cycle: Pumped on monday..flat on friday =(

On the beginning of week 6 of my bulk cycle..up 19lbs and its going great except for one problem...during the week i eat a clean 3000 clean cals (i have a lowish metabolism, endo/meso so i need to eat a bit less)...and on the weekend i eat whatever i want and dont usually gain any fat from it...i just get ridiculously carbed up for monday's workout. As the week goes on a get a bit less pumped and by friday im kinda flat..still pumped since im on cycle but nothing like monday's workout. Im having 40% carbs 40% protein and 20% fats...should i have more carbs and less fats/protein? Should i include a high carb day during the week? hmmmmmm
 
that is correct :)...and about 300 grams of protein...65 grams of fat...spread over 7 or so meals..
weight is about 214 at 5'9...around 9-10%
 
Your luckly if you can gain of that low calories, your bf is low to man thats a good weight your at.
every one is different when it comes to carbs,some people gain fat so easily off them, i have gone as high as 800 a day while bulking but after a month def noticed a 2% increase in bf so i droped back down to 600 and thats a sweet spot for me. i dont mind sitting around 12-13% bf while bulking anyways means i can eat more i shoot for around 600carbs, 400protein and 60-70g fat a day.
and to shock my body sundays i have only 100grams of carbs with meal one the its all protein and fat for the day. im at current time 220 12% bf
 
Damn..you're about my size just a little more bulked lol ...youre lucky u can eat more calories...i like eating LOL...but i guess after awhile bulking and eating constantly becomes a bit of a hassle that is true. I think my body my be getting used to the androgens...i think on the beginning of week 7 next week ill drop my dose of test and deca/eq in half and throw in test prop and some dbol (ill start cutting at the end of the 2 month bulker in a few weeks)...that should do it ...;-p

Haha your right about eating becoming a hassle but god its the main reason i can still make gains natural after my cycle, cant wait to jump back on in feb.

you're only getting 3000 calories at 215 lbs body weight? that's pretty low, isn't it?
 
What do you have as a pre-workout meal or drink....and how long before you go to the gym?
I had the same problem with lack of pumps

right now im at about 3200...just adjusting it as weight plateaus...so far it seems to be going back up thankfully...and yep i cant keep calories too high or i gain bodyfat quickly..in the past i used to have up to 4000 cals and i was 22% bodyfat in like 8 weeks...lol. When i diet i have about 1600 cals at my lowest amount..so for me this is a good amount of cals (double).

I usually try to have 40-64 oz of water in the few hours before my workout with my brown pasta and lean ground beef. 15 mins before my workout i have waxy maize/banana/milk/protein powder all mixed in a blender (40g carbs/30g protein/no fat), and then mid workout (45 mins in) ill have another of the same shake usually...it works good actually...

ive been really anabolic lately with good pumps but androgen levels/aggression seem kinda lowish..this addition of dbol/test prop while lowering the other levels of enanth/deca/eq should do it:artist:
 
I used to eat a lot too before my workouts but I think that was the problem....my body was busy digesting the food!
Now I do not eat for 2-3 hours or so before my workout, 30-45min before the gym I have 2 scoops of Isopure whey protein mixed with 1 scoop of weight gainer like Iso Mass or Cytogainer. Did this as last resort as nothing really worked. I get the best pumps now and great workouts.
What's the purpose of having waxy maize before workout...just curious?
I have the waxy maize afte the workout with protien. Having it before spikes your insulin too much. I;m not sure if that is what you looking for to accomplish but high insulin for me make me drink more simple sugars to stay awake otherwise I get sleepy. Once I drink more simple sugars I bloat a bit and get flat. I have not been able to have any protein drinks during my workouts....makes me very flat. I just drink water
