Bros - M.D. stole my post and published it!!!

Sounds like he's fessing up now.

Actually, my bad, the e-mail I have was sent to me on 09/07/2003 (So I am dyslexic). I have sent an e-mail to the author asking if I can reveal who he (his e-mail addy) as soon as he replies, upon request, I am happy to post such here.

:FRlol:

Notice he said he'd be happy to post a correction "here", meaning the website. No mention of a correct in the magazine.

Bros, lets rap this up. Its a done issue. Here's what I posted on Mayhem:

For the record:

While this thing has gone wild on a couple boards (to include the author being called out), my only intention was to mention a weird experience that happened to me: I'm sitting on a plane going to a trade show, bored to death, looking at an MD, and, boom, I read my post. It doesn't happen everyday. I thought my Elite & Mayhem bros would be interested, so I posted it. That's really it. Yes, I did comment that given its obviously no literary masterpiece, to me, it represents a disappointing commentary on some of MD's journalistic technique; but I said nothing beyond that.

Finally, to briefly address some of the PMs I'm getting at this board and others:

- I have no interest in getting my name on this (despite Tom's accurate view of my explosive career potential in this field, to include the brand name value of the STILLGOING enterprise!!). In fact, as a mid-30s professional with a family, I like to keep my bodybuilding hobby and the rest of my life very separate and distinct, thank you very much.

- I am not going to bug MD about this. I don't care and they most certainly don't care.

- Legal issue? To consider that, what they took from me would have to have some value. Enough said.

Even if the readers of that mag are unaware of the journalisitc practices of its "writers", we here know the truth...
And since I work in the fitness industry I can surely pass this knowledge on to my clientelle, and then they will know it and the chain continues onward. If they think this won't cause them damage (in a round about way even), then they are mistaken...

btw congratulations on getting your work published....Its a hard thing to do lol...:D

Originally I thought you should get at least a lifetime subscription but something you said (paraphrased) made me change my mind...

"what they GAVE you would have to have some value."

Enough said.

What can you say, that's pretty sad indeed. Bruce Kneller, you should have at least asked permission from Stillgoing as well as GS. I guess some people know no shame.

Next you're going to tell me that Muscletech products don't produce what their ads claim.
