BROS HELP ME OUT... worried.

Cata1yst said:
Thanks dude.

Never took any andro/gear before. Good genetics, not overweight (6'2" 190lbs 12%bf), exercise daily, and my cholesterol right now is 160 and triglycerides 60 something... which is very good.

Thats why I was so shocked.

Catalyst,

Glad to help. Again, you will be fine. You learned an important thing....blood work is important when using any androgen/anabolic. Also, you learned about RISK. All AAS carry some risk with usage. One must first get educated about AAS and then decide if the benefit/risk ratio is worth it.

Do what? statins?

I just don't know about completing this cycle. An HDL ratio of 10 is terrible.... anything under 40 is high risk wouldnt you agree? This is not to mention I'm only 20.
'Statins' are usual cholesterol lowering medicines, like zocor, lipitor, mevacor, etc. (You should do some of your own research).
Look at it this way: Your HDL and ratio is bad for 3 months (while on). You may have some arterial clogging.
For next 6 months (while off), keep your cholestrol better then average.
So balance 3 bad months with 6 good months. Overall result: no adverse effect. Unless you are above 50 and have clinical indications of clogged arteries. Then you shouldn't do ASS.
Low HDL is going to happen with ASS in some people. You have to accept the fact. Other than what I have mentioned, there is no other alternative.

my hdl level was screwedfrom a dbol cycle, but within a month after i was clean, it was back to nearly normal. that is a side effect of orals bro..
and prohormones are WORSE for you than real gear my man.
less results, more side effects.

My doctor told me to stay off everything (even fucking protein) but I just think he's over-reacting... I'm definetly going to stash the 6-oxo and take a tribulus supp for PCT. Unless I'm wrong will the tribulus fuck up my HDL any more than it is?

I don't know why he would tell you to back off protein. Doctors make me nervous sometimes as they tend to not necessarily have a clue about many things but act like they do. I'm sure you'll be fine bro the chest pains are probably just in your head. Just keep working out and eating right you'll be fine. I have to get mine in order as I have some bloodwork comin up in october probably.

This has gotta be a joke.......

My family doctor just calls me (he kind of knows I started taking andro) and is all livid on the phone and tells me to stop whatever I'm taking right now, apparently they tested my blood twice and my HDL was under 10!!! This doesn't make any sense because my total cholesterol is 160 and triglycerides are 67, which is pretty damn good.

Either the andro was interfering with the blood test or it actually lowered it by that much. I've only been on it for two weeks so I can't imagine it being that low... dosages were very high though.

For comparision, lets just say my HDL was 40 back in 2003 when I was out-of-shape and probably 10-15lbs overweight. I've never really freaked out about anything before but this is coming close.... if I stop this andro cold-turkey I'm afraid of estrogen sides.....

I dont have a source for nolvadex and this is my second day of not taking it or anything at all. My doc said to stop everything even fucking protein. Help a bro out I don't wanna lose the 5lbs of lean mass I gained and I don't want to crash... but I don't want my cholesterol messed up for the rest of my life...

What should I do bros? (Yes I know pro-hormones are stupid now, lesson learned)

My question is did you fast properly before your blood work? I did mine one time and ate a little and drank a little and they came back bad. 2 days later with proper fasting everything was in check.

If you just drop all the prohormone stuff, your body will recover. You're young, so don't make yourself sick over it.

Go a little heavier in the gym and don't do any crazy high-volume ball-busting to failure sets. If you already know how to do squats and deadlifts to good form, do a week or two working around squats, deadlifts and bench. If you're a six-times-a-week man drop down to two or three gym visits. This should help to increase your endogenous test and reducing the gym visits and gym volume should keep catabolics in check.

Increase your fatty acids: olive oil, fish oils, flax seed/oil. Get good sleep and eat a little more. After only 2.5 weeks you should be fine. Probably hardly shutdown at all. I've no idea about Trib and HDL. Night-time ZMA on an empty stomach should be safe unless you're already heavily supplementing with B-vits and zinc.

I wouldnt be worried about it at all...

I tested out at 17 on cycle and got all paranoid - after going on PCT I was 40+ in exactly one month.

There's no evidence that a temporary skew in cholesterol values has any effect on heard health (thanks Ulter).

Here's what you do:

Consume lots of EFA

High fiber diet

Good mulit-vitamin and mineral that contains a good amount of Niacin and b-complex vitamins.

Regular cardio activity

Go on pct with those prohormones and get nolvadex

Do that and get them retested in one month and your physician is going to be shocked.
