citrus...I don't think you are going to have any real problems finding work. I am looking myself now so I can empathize with your plight. Just keep looking, something good will come up. Good luck.

Thanks Mr.Bill i've bee looking seriously since the beginning of Janurary... haven't had too much luck yet, but I'm confident that something will turn up... it has to.. EVERYTHING TURNS UP CITRUSCIDE!!!
I took it last July, passed it. I studied about 12-14 hours a day for it ... over a period of 3 1/2 weeks... for 2 months before that, I stuided about 8 hours a day... when I took the test, it was easier than I thought it'd be.
Thought about it. I was accepted on a waitlist for the US Air Marshall's, when they called and told me my starting salary would be 39K, and I wouldn't be able to contact my family, friends or loved ones... I just said fuck it... it's not worth it.
But yes, I have thought about it.
The economy for lawyers will pick up faster than the rest of the market... so I'm positive.
citrus...I know this is a couple of days old but I was looking through old threads and saw this. I see in one of your replies that you thought about the US air marshals. If you are interested in law enforcement, you should consider applying to the FBI as a special agent. I think they make about 60k starting and you get to be a badass SPECIAL AGENT. It is a very selective process, but you should have a decent shot with a law degree.
