boost bench

IMO unless you're a powerlifter, who gives a flying **** what you can bench.

Big weights stimulate tissue. The bigger you bench - with high intensity - the bigger you will grow.

I agree 100%-unless I missed the episode of Sex And The City where some tramp says she only fucks guys that bench 350+???

BP is the most overated exercise there is. If any one exercise was a true overall measure of one's strength it would be the squat.

Yeah i wouldnt give a fuck either about strength, but he also says his chest is proportionately smaller in regards to his other muscles. I definitely would want me tits to look good at least. :coffee:

In my opinion, worrying about how much you can bench press is the biggest reason someone will end up with an underdeveloped chest. If you are worrying too much it will lead to you always doing doubles or singles, always trying to go "super" heavy, and using too much of a spot....forget about the weight and stick with the basic principles.

Also, for the true test of power......the clean and press gets my vote.

i do flat bench 4 sets
decline dbell 3/4 sets
incline dbell 3/4 sets
flat flyes 3 sets

all 8-10 reps

I personally just use incline, incline dbell, and flys(flat and incline).. Pec dec and the other machines once every 2-3weeks.. I rarely bench, and think decline is a waste of time.. Just my opinion.. Dips are great too, if done correctly..

I know light heavyweights on the national level that never go over 225 and their chest looks great. Lot's of guys grow off of high reps exclusively.

Try mixing it up a little shock the muscle with diffrent types of lifts and most impotantly use correct form. I have the same problem with my shoulders and arms not being proportionate to my chest. It sucks. If you feel rested enought to hit the pics twice a week try it.
