well, the good news is grandma is ok and the "life alert" thing worked just fine, ..

she fell and broke her hip..

yep, she made the "I fell down and can't get up"

but the system worked just fine and she's in the hospital getting help..

Sorry to hear but glad she's ok. I think those life alert things are invaluable!

I made a batch of my famous hummus for a pot luck at work tomorrow. I haven't made it in about ten years, and couldn't find my recipe notes. But hummus is a very "improvisational" process anyway. I'm not impressed with the result I got, but I'm hoping it improves in the fridge overnight.

I went to a comedy club tonight..the first two acts kinda sucked but the headliner was pretty good. A great way to wind down the week. Tomorrow is Friday!!
