Bodybuilding Routines: Post Your Bodybuilding Training For Help With A New Routine

Re: Post up your bodybuilding training problems and I'll help you develop a new routi

intensemuscle.com is the official place where you can find out all about DC training. It's the board Dante (DoggCrapp), calls home. There are women over there that do DC training. That's why I said that would be your best place to get info on DC and talk to other women who are doing DC. A lot of women over there compete (men too), so they would be able to specifically relate to your situation.

Thank you! I'll check it out!!

Ok so stop saying that a powerlifter would be great on stage if powerlifting is not about looking good... that's my point!

This powerlifter used to post here several years ago. 300+ lb'er in this first pic:

Here he is dieted down and carb depleted:

Check out this back thickness...don't get that without heavy deads!

Carb loaded:

...now, he didn't decide a year or so before this to stop doing heavy deads and squats and start doing lower weight, higher volume isolation/BB style training to bring out certain muscles etc., he just dieted down after lifting as a powerlifter for many years. Oh, and he looks better than 99% of the guys on this board.

That's all I am going to say about this now.

He has a tight waist I give you that, which only makes him an exception among most of the other powerlifter with overgrown obliques.

Come on Ceo do you honestly think that lat development his bodybuilding competition winning material? Sure his spinal erectors are thick, but he needs more details that a powerlifting routine alone can't give him and I know you know that.

You are saying that he has a much better body than 99% of EF male members around this part of the site and I agree 110%!
You don't see me saying that I support bodybuilding over powerlifting for building a better and functional body, like I said before I prefer powerlifting or functional hypertrophy over bodybuilding protocols...

Re: Bodybuilding Routines: Post Your Bodybuilding Training For Help With A New Routin

holy shit that dude's back is thick. also the delts. You would think that delts would be something a powerlifter would have to "bring up". This dude's got a set of cannon balls.

Re: Bodybuilding Routines: Post Your Bodybuilding Training For Help With A New Routin

He looks great, but still looks like a powerlifter and not a bodybuilder. yes he has great thickness and awesome muscular development, but when's the last time you've been at a local bodybuilding competition?

Those dudes are jacked, shredded, vascular, a lot more asthetic than this guy, with all due respect....he looks fucking amazing, but he's a powerlifter and not a competing bodybuilder....I can post pictures of competing bodybuilders than have not nearly the lower back thickness of this guy but will still blow him away in terms of overall development and body perfection...

Now lets look at the weaknesses from a bodybuilding point of view:

his forearms are overdeveloped, almost bigger than his biceps

his triceps is lacking...needs a lot of work

shoulders need a shitload more definition

lower back waaaaaay over developed

I dnt see his legs after he cut down, i'd like to see how that worked out for him

his left trap is higher than his right

my lats are wider than his and i'm half his weight

as a power builder he makes everyone look small and underdeveloped

as a bodybuilder, he is far from perfect...I could name a few on this board that look better, including the late Guardian.

Yeah he does specially the arm delt tie in after the carb loading looks great. Actually viewing from the front he looks flawless but I bet he is not so happy about his back.

Re: Bodybuilding Routines: Post Your Bodybuilding Training For Help With A New Routin

lol @ all you guys. Last time I was at a local show was in March. Couldn't go to a couple others I wanted to (including O) due to the new baby. At the show I went to in March, I think if this guy looked like he did in this pic from about 3 years ago (still in his early-mid twenties then) would've probably taken 3rd overall because of his back. I never said he could win the O. Sure he needs to work on some areas, but he's young. Keep in mind he doesn't know how to pose (or probably apply protan - lol). And for all I know, he doesn't care about BBing.

This guys physique blows away Guardian's, and it sure as shit blows away yours too traz. I'll take the lower back being overdeveloped with a grain of salt coming from a guy who doesn't deadlift. Never seen pics of your legs either traz...just sayin. You can see his legs are like friggin tree trunks in the before pic, if they look anything like the rest of him in the afters, I'd say it worked out ok for him.

Hey, I could've posted pics of Ronnie of Johnnie or several other pros, hell even a few other more famous PL'ers who've dieted down and look better than Dave here, but I wanted to keep it relative to posters here I guess.

Here, what about this comparison:

And would he be able to work on those areas without bodybuilding?

That's my point all along... also through posing you enhance mind-muscle connection which in turn will allow you to focus on certain areas while weightlifting...

Try to be a little more accepting of other peoples' ideas bro....just saying

I don't look nearly as good as he does...I know this. So what?

This is not about me. This is about whether or not powerlifters can look as good as bodybuilders on stage.

The answer is no. simple. yes there are exceptions. but you have to have changed your routine for the longest time and concentrated on bodybuilding for you to make that switch and impress on stage.

Re: Bodybuilding Routines: Post Your Bodybuilding Training For Help With A New Routin

lol...

i think everyone is saying the same thing but no one wants to accept that the other person is correct.

CEO is saying- when you work on powerlifting programs you get insane raw muscle which you can sculpt later on by dieting and all.
but you get a lot of extra raw "thickness" which is useful later on.

and i think all others have agreed with him at some point.

so why all this argument.

PS: on a personal note i would love to have "overdeveloped" forearms and quads like that dude..:)
