ok, i got bloodwork probably a little too prematurely but anywhow... everything is within range except...

testosterone (total) 1868
free >50

Estradiol 128 (0-56)

Any suggestions and/or comments? I am currently doing my hrt dosage of 200mg cypionate a week.

I also have other tests/numbers if anyone is interested.

200mgs is too much for HRT. I don't know why this isn't more widely understood. I'll bet you got your script from a "clinic", not a doctor.

128 is WAY too high for estrogen. I'd suggest getting some adexx and POST CYCLE. 1/4 mg of dexx EOD and daily doses of the POST CYCLE to get e under control.

thx nelson... i got my script from my primary... so now that i am further out from my cycle will that estrogen come down on its own or no? and how long should i do the arimidex eod?

Whats funny is i used to take armidex regulary while on my cycle (even though I had no indications of gyno) but read a thread by you that said DON'T take it unless absolutely necessary. So I discontinued it totally and now this estrogen is really high. You have to admit that constantly getting bloodwork done to check estradiol to know when to take arimidex is not practical. So every cycle should include it regardless. So since my estradiol is high and i have no gyno symptoms, whats the problem? I understand it is not right, but just want to be aware of the symptoms i should be having.

you can still have children while on HRT. You just need to run CLOMID along with it to increase your sperm count and keep your natural production going similtanously. This is the info I recieved from my doctor when going on HRT. and yep, is an actual MD and licensed for Sports medicine as well.

can't you also use hcg instead of clomid?

Dr Swale has written that some men will need 200mg/wk of testosterone in order to get their "free" testosterone into a normal range. He goes on to say that the amount required is highly variable between individuals and that it does not correlate with body mass or previous steroid use.

can't you also use HCG - human chorionic gonadotropin - instead of clomid?

I think CLOMID has a greater effect on your sperm count. another option would be to use a butterfly methos of CLOMID.
5 days on, 2 days off.
on the 2 off days, do 500ui of HCG.

I don't know when me and the wife are gonna try for kids, so I am just going to run the clomid continuosly with the prescribed TEST during HRT.

That article was in response to the over use of anti e's. (Promoted by some people who used to reside on this site). 1/4 mg eod isn't a lot. Just until you get it down. Then as long as you take the POST CYCLE you can get away with 1/4 mg every 3 days. That's for life bro. That's HRT.
