Here it is:

total test = 302 range 250 - 1100
percent bioavailable = 53 range 46 - 224
bioavailable test = 106 range 110 - 575
shbg = 22 range 7 - 50
albumin = 4.4 range 3.7 - 5.1

Here are the numbers from last time

total test = 343 range 250 - 1100
percent bioavailable = 50 range 46 - 224
bioavailable test = 86 range 110 - 575
shbg = 30 range 7 - 50
albumin = 3.7 range 3.7 - 5.1

*prior to that we did not run bioavailable tests.
Here are the numbers three tests ago.

total test = 367

The first test I had done was 416 total test.

Here are the results from first to last:

416..... 367...... 343....... 302

To me I see my total test declining with each test run. They have all been run at the same time under the same conditions then tested by the same lab.
While my bioavailable has increased slightly I am disturbed with the trend of my total test dropping each time.

I am meeting with an endo this thursday. It should be interesting.

Are you fully recovered when you are taking these tests?

I have not touched AAS since last summer. All esters were out the first week of August. I used hcg and clomid at the appropriate times.
The tests were taken in Oct, Dec, Jan and March.

Slat, are you familiar with Dr Shippen's HRT approach? It's based on HCG. I've read in some cases with younger guys following 6 months or so low dose coupled with an AI (or in some cases DIM) if needed, in some cases natural levels were restored and HRT discontinued... it sounds like he got people running a prolonged PCT.

Where is Dr Shippen located? Does he have a website?

Did you have your levels taken before cycling? This may be your baseline. Which kind of sucks... but if you are stressed and sleep deprived, it can drop them 200 points.

I think he's in the Pennsylvania, unfortunately I don't know exactly where.

No website that I know of.

I highly recommend that anyone considering HRT reads his book:

The Testosterone Syndrome: The Critical Factor for Energy, Health, & Sexuality--Reversing the Male Menopause

or just scans the web for articles - alot of very good info is out there.

I met with the endo.
I am going back in a month to have my total test, bio available test, fsh, and lh checked.
She said my fsh and lh were too low.
If they are low again next time we will be scheduling an MRI to try and rule out a tumor in my head.
I meet with her on June 6th to review the results.

Good luck bro... I hope everything gets figured out pronto. At least you are being smart and going through the steps to get this diagnosed correctly. A lot of guys will just live with a problem and ignore it until it is too late.

Sounds like old age to me....Hope that makes yea feel better :rainbow:

I go to get my blood taken again in a little more then two weeks.
I am also putting together some of my own research to quiz the endo about. I am hoping there are alternative methods to increasing test levels other then hrt.
I read in Muscular Development that there is a new drug that increases your test levels almost 300ng/dl without effecting your natural production.
I would also like to see her feedback on hcg/clomid etc.

How many of you guys have been prescribed hrt and wound up using some AAS after that?

Speaking for myself ... You get a little cocky and want more results.

In January I said to my Dr .... "What are we going to do in 2006?"
I handed him some info on Sust 250, deca and anavar.

I fear that if I shut myself down with HRT I will be able to rationalize using something else. My Dr. would not be on board with that.

slat1,

Do you recall the name of that new drug? Thanks

cheers.

Getting more bloodwork done tomorrow.
I should have the results a week from Monday.
Watch them go up. Then they will want to do more and more tests and drive me to the poor house and depression.

Why not run a monster PCT? If you feel as bad as you lead on, you seriously got nothing to lose...

My best quess is they will put you on low dosage HRT. Your test level will go up to the 900 range quickly. Not a big deal ... just rub a little topical on each day or inject 75 mg test e in the glute once a week.

I still don't understand why a young man has this happening. Your cycles were not that strong.

I am waiting for the results before I do anything. I should have them a week from today. I will post them up.
Once I know what the endo wants to do I will decide my future.
I am all set with paying tons of money going to the DR's all the time. Hopefully, they will have it all mapped out for me.

Here are the new results:

Total Testosterone = 491 range 250-1100 last time = 302

Percent Bioavailable = 94 range 46-224 last time = 53

Bioavailable Testos = 193 range 110-575 last time = 106

Sex Hormone B G = 21 range 7-50 last time = 22

Albumin = 4.5 range 3.7-5.1 last time = 4.4

LH = 3 range 1.5-9.3 last time = 4

FSH = 4 range 1.4-18.1 last time = 5

Testosterone = 284 range 241-827

*I did not fast. I noticed it said something about "fast 8am".

It looks to me as though most of my numbers have gone up with the exception of FSH and LH.
Why do I think I will be told "your fine" and I will have spent all my time and money for nothing...

I dont know your doctor personally, but I have been under the impression that female doctors are less sympathetic to male hormonal imbalances than a male doctor.

My doctor is female.
If I am told I am fine watch the sad series of events that happen in my life. I will be bullshit. I will probably consult others and then take matters into my own hands.

Ulter should chime in, he's really a guru on HRT. If it's ruining your quality of life then something needs to be done - one way or the other.
