You draw back to see if you are in a vein. This guy just went through one.

happened once when i injected my thigh before too....i never hit anything when i have 25 g needles but when i hit the vein yesterday i was using a 20 g only because thats the only size pins i had left...went to the pharmacy this morning and got more 25 g pins......learnt my lesson with using mammoth pins now....
