BICEP need some serious info and help

OK...So about a week and a half ago...I did biceps and the next day they were sore...NO BIGGIE>.... Well I have now developed this pain at the end of my bicep towards my elbow....It is not black and blue or anything....... and I can do just about anything I want....But, there is a small annoying pain.....When lifting it bothers me a lot more...I did a lot of research online and I do not think it is torn but just strained...So just been keeping it elevated and icing it down...


any suggestions or similar stories.????...I am on cycle right now and this is killing me not to be able to go into the gym and just crush it...
 
Sounds like ligament or tendon tear ... very common.

Fix is rest of course. Prolotherapy works wonders. You might want to read up on it.

In the meantime, find another exercise that doesn't hit this "hot spot". Wear a tight elbow sleeve wrap that hugs the biceps also. That will help.

If you are doing HGH, put a few cc's right into the spot.
 
I agree with the Lion..sounds like a legiment....sucks bro, because i have had something similar but minor..went away after a few weeks of not doing anything...
 
I had something similar, what I did is rest it for a week and come back and do light weight that doesnt put strain and do lots of reps to maintain!!. If it gets worst stop and rest longer cut your losses start pct and start your cycle while your fully healed
 
I have it happen sometimes on my right arm only and when I lift super heavy...or move up in poundage too fast. Usually I will just skip a week on that particular mucle and it will be better by the following week. It is probably what is considered a Micro-tear. If it is torn badly...you wont be raising you arm with some serious pain.
 
THanks a ton...I am just going to take the rest of the week off and keep icing it and trying not to do to much with it......RADAR...you got a pm from me about that stuff... anyone else have any suggestions?
 
Same thing happened to me a few years ago.... Just started a cycle of Drol at the time, and I think I got too strong too fast for the Ligaments/Tendons..... Was doing Lat Pull downs, and got a huge pain in my Bicep.... Went to the Doc, they told me to rest it, was the only Treatment..... I put the arm in a sling, stopped the Drol, and let it get better....

Sounds like yours isn't as severe, which is good news..... However, you still need to rest it man..... Once it doesn't hurt much, go back in the gym and use light weights, and see which exercises strain it, and which don't, then adjust your workouts according to that..... To this day, I can only do reverse grip, close grip, Lat pulldowns with straps.... It's the only exercise that doesn't bother my tendon..... It's a set back, but youre not down and out bro....

Thanks...again to all for helping out.......I am gunna give it till next monday then....Go in and see how it feels.....Just sucks..never had an injury like this...I am sure I will bounce right back..
