Great shoes, now this also depend on your feet and arches. I am also a big fan of brooks for running shoes.

There is no best shoe. It all depends on your arch, pronation level, racing/training, heel strike/ball strike, weight, etc.

Yep, go to a good running store that will do a gait analysis so you can get the best shoe for you.

I myself like the Nike Air Vomero, it has plenty of cushioning and not too much motion control (good natural gait shoe).

I use to say Nike but now tip my had to Newton Running. New company out of Boulder, CO. They have a lot of high profile traithletes who can out run anyone at EF.

Expensive? Yes. But you can try and return within 30 days if you don't think they are worth it. And they come with a nice hat, socks, spare laces, and a nice bag.
