Went home to visit my family last week. I dont see them that often and then only briefly. So after driving for 8 hours straight I'm walking up to my sis-in laws house. She lives with my two nieces (age 3 and 7).....by brother has nowt to do with them. Anyhow, I'm walking up tot he house......tired, sweaty, seriously need coffee........and my nieces see me. Come running down the path screaming 'Uncle X is here.....' and then give me a hyuge hug......then they woudlnt go more than 6 inches from me for the best part of 4 hours.

Kinda made the trip worthwhile.

They are adorable. I have 6, half of each.

My sisters 4 are enrolled in a karate class so I went to watch them this weekend. The class is tailored for young children ages 3-6.

My little nephew Matt is only 3, and he is in the class as well. At one point the instructor is interacting with the kids and shouting out "Who's the best," to which the required response is "I am". So you have all these little kids answeing "I am." Finally the instructor goes up to Matt and says "Mathew Who is the best" and Matt answers "Kevin!" The instructor answers questioningly now "Who is the best?" and Matt responds "My big brother Kevin, he's right over there" while pointing at his 6 year old brother. It was so cute

The instructor then asks him if he cleaned his room this week and he says "Yes sir!". My niece (4) immediately rats him out whith a "No he didnt" Matt drops his head and says "No,no I didnt" I died LOL

I really like it when I am sweating and panting with a huge crap clawing it's way to get out, and I get to run into a bathroom and unleash hell on the toilet. Same goes for a good piss. And eating cheesecake. Or combine all three and I'm basically in heaven.

Definitely a great feeling - i've been there. However, i think the best feeling in the world is waking up next to the person you love and knowing they'll be there forever. (What do you say Seashell?!?)

I'd have to imagine the first time you look upon your child would be up there too.
