Best excuse you say to tell people your not on Gear!

get used to some susupicious looks and questions. tell 'em after all these years of training you finally learned how to eat and train to grow. let em suspect all they want. doesn't really matter what people say. they are just jealous. :o
 
well it's a bit more difficult in my situation, because im a trainer, and all my friends are trainers, and my boss is just a guru. i simply tell then ive been put on prednisone..... for all you that didnt know, its a cortisone steroid, that gives you water retention in the face, it may make you break out, and it increases your appitie so much that you always gain weight. i told my boss this and he recommended some type of salt extract tablets for the facial bloat, lol.
 
for my family...in my kitchen...i have a section of the counter where i keep a big tub of protein, creatine, NO2, glutamine, vitamins. you see...nobody else in my family really knows what all that shit is, but it looks good that they see it.

also...being that my diet is not 100% in check...you see...i tend to over eat. i hold my fat a little more. so when they say (and i get this at the gym) "wow...you got big", i just say (with a really depressed look" yeah, i got fat, i'm trying to diet right now". at the same time...i grab onto that infamous love handle that i cant shake for shit nomatter what. and i pinch as far back as i can...it usually works like a charm.

other wise...just play mind games with them...tell them that you've been the same weight for over a year now. if they dont work out they will still have no idea.
 
tell them to fuck off and mind their own business or you will roid-rage on their ass! lol.
 
I tell them I juiced in college but right now i'm as big as I want to be. (which is true)

Notice with that statement I don't deny being on juice now, I just don't admit that I am. The answer satisfies them enough to end it there.

I just tell everyone I watch my diet very closely, calories, carbs, protein etc. Most of them either over eat, or eat so much "shit" that when I mention diet and discipline they shut right up.
 
Tell them 1-AD and T-bomb. Most people that know anything about it will be like "ok I've heard of that". Also the creatine, protien, training. You could say you were always overtraining or working for endurance with multiple reps and now you've mixed your routine for bulking and strength with more weight and less reps.
 
Tell em you've added more protein to your diet and you're trying a new weight training routine that you've seemed to adapt to very well.
