Best Clubs in NYC

Hi,

I'll be visiting NYC in about a month with some of my bros. What club's do you recommend going to while staying in NYC? I'll most likely be staying there for 5 days or so, I have yet to book a hotel.

Also, for anyone living in NYC or the surrounding areas, what borroughs or areas do you recommend living in near or around Manhattan? I'd like to relocate up there in the next 6 months or so. I've been looking towards downtown Manhattan and also maybe Hoboken.

Thanks,
J.

Brospeh, here is a link to all the good DJ shows in NYC
(just click where it says Party Calendar and you have a shitload to choose from)

Hoboken is okay but there is only one PATH station. If you do move there, get an apartment close to it. I lived over 20 blocks away and it sucked walking in the wintertime. You can find a good apartment or get a roommate on Craigslist, I live in Midtown and my rent is 1000 (w/ a roommate) but my apartment is dope. Best of luck bro.

Thanks, for the link bro that is definately bookmarked. Thanks for the info, I'll look into craigslist.

Also, check out the Upper East Side. It's not as hip as living right on Spring St. in Soho, but in downtown, I know people paying $1500/mo. for little rat-trap apts.

The UES clean, safe, and has a everything you need. And, when it's Fri./Sat. night, downtown is ten minutes away on the 4, 5, or 6 subway.

there is only like 1 good big club right now and thats -Crobar...the rest are lame..all the good parties/crowds have moved to smaller lounges/clubs. you have to be more specific as to what your loooking for?

1, do you like house music?
2. do you prefer a mix of music and less drugged up crowd cuz then you;ll want to hit up a good lounge( we call them lounges but its really just a small club)

3. hoboken is only for bars!...yuppy drinking crowd..cool if you just want to drink and talk.

Haha...you do have to be more specific these days when it comes to clubs...long gone are the days of weekly residencies and parties.

Check out Brooklyn! Park Slope is very close to the city...a few stops away on the F train and it's a very cool area...plenty of shops, food...etc.
Parts of Windsor Terrace are very good (edge of Park Slope) and affordable, yet clean. I loved it out there. Brooklyn is definitely the shit.
