Alegria at Crobar. It is one of the best parties in the world. It is on Sunday, 8 times a year only. It is a gay event, but anyone who enjoys the best of the best will be welcome there. The crowd is a mix of the most muscular gay men in the US, along with some girls and straight couples looking for a hot sexy night out of great music and dancing all night.

fuck crobar, fuck avalon, fuck webster hall, fuck all the other mainstream places, these clubs are useless for dancing and attract some of the worst bridge and tunnel crowds. if you like stupid frat guys from the surrounding areas and LI and NJ "princesses"..then by all means, go!

all the good parties (not packed like sardines, friendly vibes) in nyc are strictly underground

you need to know what you want to hear, attend the next event, and gather up as many flyers as possible because they'll be advertising events that are similar to the one you've just been

It all depends on what crowd/music/scene you want. If you want the Bridge and Tunnel "fist pumping w/ sweaty shirt taken off" then try Avalon, or Crobar.

If you like the more layed back, sitting at tables with pretty socialites and all that jazz, then try Aer, Quo, or Bungalow 8...too bad Pangaea closed, it was my fav.

Eugines and Gustavinos use to throw a good party, not sure if they still do. Crobar is the new crackhead place to go.
