Benchmonster

happy b-day big guy. Bench had said in my thread that it would be one hell of a b-day... he gets to meet Spatts...:) :) :)

oh, yeah, and the rest of the assylum

Hey happy birthday old man.

This just got me thinking, In 7 more years, there will be a 4 month lapse where I wont have to deal with lifting against you(you will be in submasters at that point and I will still have 4 months till my 35th). Maybe I will get lucky and you'll overindulge on B-Day cake and move up to the 242's!

Anyway, hope you are tearing shit up in Missouri, and I look forward to hearing from you and the crew when you get back.

Well, I got to get my squat workout in before my buds wedding tonite. Later..

Youre right Arioch, I didnt think of that.

I guess i will have to go with the plan of fattening the lad up!! I'll have to talk to his wife about making sure he's well fed!

Uh yeah Bench, doesnt Dave Tate say your bench leverages are better if your a little round through the middle?? (HeHe-think he will fall for it?)

There are a couple of other options open as well.

1. If he burns a lot of calories around the house completing the honey-do list, you could help him out with this. The caloric expenditure on yard work alone can be enormous.
2. Go over to his house, and while you are there, sugar-coat his Wheaties with Anadrol.

or while he's eating, perform a drastic surgery on his body, and coat all his internal organs in uranium.... just a though.

We are not plotting his demise.

We are helping him.

Remember, to lift big, you need to get big.

It is all about perspective.

Thank you all so much. I appreciate the happy birthday wishes. I had a great birthday. Got to meet Hanibal, The Project, and Spatterson. They are a great group to train with, and very hospitable hosts.

Much appreciation from the Okie Crew to the KC crew. We are trying to turn the midwest into the new powerlifting mecca. I had a great time on my birthday, got to eat a couple meals, swap war stories, and train with a great bunch of folks.

Hannibal has an outstanding home gym setup. And tho it was a long day, it was a very fun day. Thanks again to all.

Happy Birthday Brotha....posted a new thread...you'll have to check the numbers to see if they are right.

Today was Powerlifting 101...thanks man

I have no idea if the numbers are right or not. I could never keep up with the metric stuff. Sounds fine tho. I just lift all I can, then try and do a little more. I really rarely ever realize what is on the bar till it is over, and usually have to count it up to enter into the training log when the final attempt is done. So you probably know better than me if they are accurate.

I know the bar was bending, and I was hurting, and whatever it was, it was all that was in the tank today. It was a good day, nobody died.

You guys are impressive. Gotta go get som sleep. Night night.

Get some sleep...and check your PM's
