prob because of hs shirt... happened to my buddy last year, but he was only warming up with 385 and he dumped it on his stomach... i was right behind him... he was fine tho! he said it was his shirt for some reason, forget the reason tho.. lol

i spotted a guy who was an NFL cut in my gym a couple years ago with 605# bench...he did 3 clean reps!!! he was about 250# and lean...it was awesome. powerful human being to say the least.

actually the shirt has so much support hes actually going around it rather than into it and that leads to dumping

I saw a guy do that two attempts in a row. Looked like he broke his friggin ribs. More often than not, it happens to guys who half grip when they bench, also 95% of guys who have broken their arms benching used a half grip.

Message of the day - full grip when you bench heavy or you'll end up like this guy.... OUCH!

that was 832 lbs! what is even more amazing is that he came back on his third attempt and got the lift. and yes, they call the thumbless grip the " suicide grip" for a reason.
