I know that most did not totaly bomb but there was a lot of misses.

I think most people gave lifts that they were used to achieving with a triple ply,this was a double ply only.And yes there were people who were caught trying to use poly insersts inside their denims.
This was an outstanding meet,ran very well,cool lifters who liked to party!
This should be a goal for everyone,when you see this on TV,you will know what I mean.
Hell it was worth being there just to see the ring girls! mmmmmm!
