If I am not mistaken you said you had only used the cytos for two weeks when you had the bad reaction? If you have only been on for two weeks you really do not have to taper at all. Your thyroid will not slow in two weeks of using t3 so either just stop or lower your dose.

I would agree if he had been taking a lower dosage. But he was taking enough to create a toxic reaction to it. Who knows what high doses for short intervals would do. He was taking a 24 hour dose and running it through his thyroid in about 7 hours. Not to mention it lasted for 2 weeks. I would rather be safe than sorry. They can't ever give you a new thyroid.....Take good care of the one you have.

T3 has a half-life of 36 hours so I'm not exactly sure on how your diagrams perpetuate this. Anyway, Cytomel is best used as perscribed. That is, all at once on an empty stomach in the morning. Pharmecutical companies spend millions on R&D before a a medication can be made public. This dosage schedule concures with what they believe is the best possible route. No flame here, but who are you going to believe.

The dosage schedule I read came from the Anabolics 2000 reference guide I don't claim to be an expert I just think that book it highly regarded..

How many people here split the tab up into 3 doses per day when taking 1 tab a day? Thanks for the graph gyno. I'd like to here more opinions about this.

I take the whole dose on empty stomach in a morning and know a few guys who use the same method, nobody has any problems.

well, today is wednesday, i started my t3 last monday, a week and 3 days ago, i startted out by taking .25mcg for 4 days(i have the .50) so i took a half. after the 4 days i upped it to .50 mcg for 4 days and yesterday i upped it to .75 i will only go as high as .100 2 .50 pills and then taper it back down but i have just been taking my whole dose in the morning, i havnt had really any troubles except last nite i could not get to sleep at all. i think it is ok to just take the whole dose in the morn, but if anyone has any other info.PLEASE POST
