i was wondering what happened too armored. I went to go see it because posters were still up at the theatres, but the dang thing was gone already.

Like I said before --- no studio ever makes money at the box office. Fox probably spent half a billion in marketing and equipping theateres with 3d equipment too.

The real test is when the DVD and PPV/Itunes, etc. versions go online. THAT is where studios make profits. Think of the box office as 'marketing for dvd/television/merchandise'.
