Mid-range model of each car. I wouldn't want to go much over $35K. Automatic tranny cuz I need my hand free to use my Captain of Crush hand Gripper.

The G35 for sure. Even if you get the Audi new with a warranty you won't like the inconvenience of having to take it to the dealership for service so often.

infiniti, lexus, or acura. but if you want to go balls out and have stupid money then Maserati. i'm sorry but i would take Maserati over Benz.

Dang!

i'm turning in my lease this month (i had an a4). it was great until the warranty took a dump and then it sucked.

i'd honestly go with the g35 as people i know who've had it NEVER complained of any probs.

can't say the same about audi's. if they were a more dependable car, i'd say go for it...but they're not

i have to get a new audi because i got fucked on mileage and alot of other things...so they're gonna cut me some slack if i get a new audi (plus rollover the miles into the new lease). just gonna make sure i keep the lease short term and get enough miles so i don't go over the warranty again

bmw--might as well buy what they measure the others against
althought not nearly as bad an an audi, bmw's tend to break expensively after the warranty runs out. lexus/infinitt just keep on tickin' .... :artist:

You are buying used or new?
I buy new because I drive them til they fall apart.

Look, being an avid Audi fan and working for for a dealership in the past I will tell you hands down they are one of the most advanced built cars out there. Who has the 1st company to win the Lemans with a turbo diesel race car? you guessed it Audi, and they have claimed their victory time and time again. Their attention to detail is best to none. Safety ratings blow Infiniti out of the water. They use virgin steel construction, and laser guided welding, what other manufacturers are doing this? At the end of the day people dont buy cars for the most part based on engineering they buy based on what other people are buying (Banz, Lexus, infiniti,BMW) and this surely is one of Audis biggest downfalls in N.A. They are great cars and if you treat them right they will return the favor. ipersonally own a 1996 Audi A4 2.8 Quattro. and it is running like a cham these cars do last!

I own an '04 Audi A4 and it's great on gas and fun to drive. However, I'll never own another one. I have it regularly serviced according to Audi's maintenance sched and I've still had a ton of minor and not so minor issues. At 28K miles, the transmission control until died. Thank God it was still under warranty. I've replaced coils NUMEROUS times, had both front power window motors replaced, TWICE, and the driver's side window still doesn't work properly. And don't even get me started on the sunroof. I can open it, but closing it something else entirely. Either it won't close until I cycle the switch from open to close several times, or it completely closes ON IT'S OWN while I'm driving. Awesome. Now, to say that Audi's safety ratings blow Infiniti's "out of the water" is just completely untrue. Audi has a stellar safety rating, but so does Infiniti. According to the NHTSA, the A4 and G35/G37 are identical with one exception. The A4 got 5 out of 5 stars in every catagory. The Infiniti scored 5 out of 5 in everything except for Passenger Front, where it still got 4 out of 5. I wouldn't call that being blown out of the water.
