ATTN: Sailors and Marines

I have never had a problem with being tested in the Amry or the Air Force(I was in the AF back in the day). If they are looking at you because you look suspicious it is normally due to an attitude change. If you are flipping out on people all of a sudden, then they look at your physique. You have to understand, almost all of the command staff have no idea about steroids or any side effects such as water bloat. The test has to be commander authorized, and nobody else in the unit. Most commanders wouldnt even bother, because if you go down to medical, pass the test, they have to worry about the soldier/sailor/Airman/Marine going to the IG and fillign out a complaint against them. 2 make a long story short, they dont give a fuck, as long as you are not roid raging.

I was in the Marine Corps for a LOOOOOONG time and knew MANY guys that juiced along with me. None of us were ever caught or were asked anything about AAS. You do it smart you'll be OK. If you do as the first bro wrote and gain 20+lbs in one month you may get some questions.

yes i know they do...in fact there are a lot of marines in this very forum in the service now...the guy that went to the recruiter and was accused of taking steroids, could have just told the stupid recruiter that he doesnt take them. i am alomst possitive they would have never tested him EVER. BUT, if they did test him, the only thing that would happen you be him saying you cant get in untill you pass this drug test.....

Exactly. PLus it soudns like the folks at the MEPS station told im that shit. Those guys are a little different as they deal with civilians off the street constantly. They are trying to weed people out

absolutely not!!!!! Then you wouldn't join. They want your ass to join, they're going to kiss your ass. Even if you told them, they would tell you never tell anyone and they don't write it down. I worked at a recruiting station for work study in high school. Recruiters have a quota they have to meet other wise their quarterly review will be shitty. There is a few people like jelfa who have no fucking idea what they are talking about. You have to do some stupid shit to get tested. They have to single you out. If they do single you out and you test neg. then you could file an E/O report and they'd get hemmed up. I've seen 1 dude get tested. He kicked the shit out of a private is the only reason why they tested him.

okay i am probably going to go into the military here soon...i am already a big guy..and i just started cycle....are they goign to test me when i go to the recruiter...i will also be going in as an officer if that makes a difference

The standards to get into the military have dropped a shit load, there is a war going on they need new guys. thats why they were talking about the draft.

Sorry to bust your bubble. Even though some of what you say is correct you are way off about the enlistment standards. Every Military service except for the National Guard is and will keep on meeting their quotas. After 9/11 there was a huge surge in enlistments that is still going on today. Nobody except for a few Dem politicians (and they only did that to fool ignorant people like yourself into voting for them because they thought if a Draft were mentioned some people would assume it was the Repubs mentioning it) and a few left wing nuts are talking about a draft. A draft will NOT happen in the next 50yrs. So, my friend, you are talking aout of your ass as much as the other guy.


Bottom line. The Services do not test for AAS unless it is highly suspected that someone is using. Period.

Ok dumb ass. How come they just activated 25,000 people out of the IRR. I just got out of the Reserves and was 3 years active. If enlistment quotas are so great then why the drop in standards to get in, why are they bringing back people who have been out for years? This is a subject I am extremely knowledgeable on. I've read tons of tm's, fm's, ar's, and anything else I could get my hands on. Why are retention bonus's the highest they've ever been. Why have the standards for the elite forces dropped? I've seen some fat week individuals get accepted for SFAS and go to their Q courses. Knowledge is power my friend so I built up quite an arsenal to deal with retards like yourself. However, I do agree with your bottom line. I also voted for BUSH, and knew the Democrats brought up the draft. It may have been politically driven, but it was still brought up.

Everybody knows, nobody cares. We've got almost 1/3 a company on shit they got from Iraqi Army guys. No thanks. And about retention, the army is DEFINITELY not meeting their standards. I'm getting out in just over 7 months and they are cramming reenlistment down our throats.
