The idea of this was for a friendly competition to used in the interest of entertainment, not a platform for people to fire shots at Fonz. If he want ground rules prohibiting such behavior I think he's entitled to it.
People are firing snide remarks on this thread and the contest hasn't even started yet. So I can imagine how they'd be popping off once it actually came down to it if he didn't ask that it ends before the contest begins.

I'm all for this idea, but you have to understand that this whole board is also a platform for discussion, I think people also tend to get upset when they disagree with Fonz, because then he outright calls them stupid or ignorant, or my favorite fat, although it hasnt been done in this thread, there's countless examples. So banning someone for making such a comment, would be hypocrtical, if you did not ban the other party.

I am not asking that anyone be banned. I am not excusing any prior arguments, or taking sides. I don't really care if they don't involve me. You're missing the whole point of my post. The board is a platform for discussion, not insults. What's in the past should stay there if everyone is to move forward. Why do you think it's productive to repeat what trouble transpired in the past? Why is it necessary to belabor these arguments forever?
Someone wants a simple, friendly, competition with someone else and you're advocating the right of members to heckle the participants on the grounds that this fulfills the purpose of the board as a discussion platform?

This is one of the great things about Ulter’s board. You won’t ever see a discussion arguing over whether or not this type of behavior is acceptable because it is simply not tolerated in any way shape or form. Too bad we can’t hold the contest over there.

Fonz. I have come up with a scoring system for this contest. Each one of the following things will be rated on a scale from 1-5. We will choose a panel of 10 people who we both honestly beleive will score us without bias. We will add up the scores for each section from each judge, and whoever has the highest score wins. We will be judged on:

Back - 5
Legs - 5
Chest - 5
Arms - 5
Abs - 5
overall build - 5

if you think these terms are fair, or if you want to make adjustments, let me know.

I agree with those numbers. But choosing as panel of 10 non-biased people is going to be next to impossible. Just take a look at the thread. And also, most of the people posting here aren't even EF regulars, they're coming over from another board to create drama yet again. This is EF, no other board. So, if this is not your regular board, or you don't post here regularly, you have no business whatsoever replying in this thread. If you are, you are welcome to throw in suggestions for the contest, that as far as I'm concerned started TODAY, May 19th...and ends July 21st.

I think it's better to have either real NPC judges or seasoned competitors of which I am neither. There are many people here who are though. If there aren't enough I can ask a few of the judges and competitors from AF to help out. They don't have any axes to grind here.
