Women tend to be sentimental about stuff - again back to that emotional thing. Even if you guys arent' together, you hold a special place in her memories so she kept the stuff. I've done that w/ some stuff and either tossed it because I truly got pissed off at the guy, it was just time to let it go completely or the memories just became irrelevent. I wouldn't read too much into it.

yeah..first step in shooting yourself in the foot is looking to much into something.

I've always kept stuff from one guy I dated when I was 18. I still have the simple, gold dolphin charm he gave me for my 18th birthday. In all the years in between, I have tossed out, not cared about a lot of things men gave me. I've always had a box that I saved with memories from him. We kept in touch, letters, pictures etc because he was ALWAYS a good friend to me when I was down and out. He was a good friend to me through a lot of bullshit in my life.

My career brought me close to where he lives and we are dating again. Funny how things like that come full circle.
