The intent of this is to alert you to a new virus that has entered our e-mail environment. You may receive an email message from [email protected] or [email protected] with the subject of "RE[2]: our private photos" along with an attachment.


PLEASE DO NOT OPEN THIS ATTACHMENT!!!

This contains a virus that harvests email addresses from user machines to further propagate itself and overload corporate e-mail servers. Filters are being placed to block these messages.

Anyone still opening attachments in Email without knowing the sender deserves to be infected, and then euthanized...

LOL. You know as well as I do that normal users in a corporate environment will still open it even though that email went out corporate wide

We simply disable their machines off of the network remotely until they call.
Then we lecture them, clean the machine and say tisk tisk a bit..

Wow you guys are pretty tough over there. They only make people run the latest virus scan to get rid of it. They don't disconnect them from the network. You think they would though considering it's a good way to keep the virus contained.
