Yes and no. Go from living with your parents who tell you what to do to living with a bunch of guys roughly the same age as you telling you what to do, but they have the ability to see to it that you don't get a raise.

You should see some of these guys. They got away from their parents, but are in such a bind financially that they literally can not afford to get out of the military.

17. I moved into my granddad's house. I lived with him until he died. His house was closer to my highschool by like 20 miles. Then I moved to college. I never had anything against my mom. Dad died when I was 11. That was hard. I'll never, ever forget that night.

because i was still in high school they moved me into a project with a social worker on duty 24hr's a day. place was full of nutter kids gone wrong but i had my own space and it was right on the coast which was cool because i could go surfing everyday. got wise to the world pretty quick. hard going working through college and uni but i've never looked back since
