Yes!! It just seems that they all want to hang out with people who HAVE kids too. Kind of like married people only want to hang with married etc etc. They act like I'm not in their world right now or something, but I will be once I have them. lol

Oh yeah I know what you mean. It can also bug you when they always talk about their kids and that is it. I am sure I was annoying to my single friends when I was a new Mom too. My kids aren't babies anymore so not a lot of kid stuff to talk about.
I still always find more to talk about than just the kids anyway. Two things I don't always like to talk about when out having a good time and that is WORK and KIDS.

I don't do much "hanging" anymore. I coach baseball spring and fall, we play out of town alot and most of our time is spent with my other coaches and their families. We do go to parties at the county club at times, mix of ages there.
All my friends are younger then me (48) and my wife (43), they are in their late 30's.

Almost all my friends I hangout with now are younger than me because everyone my age is in the hospital, grave, old folks home, or married!!
