5. I am really not sure if I would for just any adult...adrenalin might kick in, but I am not sure.

as of right now yes I would...I'm a Soldier in Army it's my job to do whats necessary for this country....If one of my buddies was in a world of shit yeah I wouldn't think twice about trying to save him even if it meant my life

I was on a fishing boat in alaska last yr and a 45 foot wave swept over the bow while a buddy and I were securing a lift raft to the bow, fortunately the wave pushed me down to the deck and into a railing, my buddy was'nt so lucky and was washed overboard

I am not sure you can really know this until you are in a situation.

I remember walking to a neighborhood basketball court with my then 4 year old son. He darted into the street just as a car was speeding down the road. I jumped out there, dropped to my knees, wrapped my arms around him to cushion him from the impact and turned my back to the car so I would get hit first. Luckily the car stopped just short of hitting us. I was kind of surprised later that I did not even think about it-there was no time-but I would have gladly let my body be broken for him.
