god, when my son was a rugrat (under 5) I had a girlfriend that would periodically come and visit and spend most of the afternoon with me, encourage me to go run a few errands while she spent time alone with him, even.

She confessed that everytime she got the "baby bug" she'd come visit with me and remind herself why she wanted to stay on the pill

(To say my son was a "handful" is understating the case just a pinch -- put it this way, he put ME off having other kids, and I love him to death).

Oh dear God no.

I have to tell you though I do like shopping for kids though - I did some crazy shopping for a baby shower recently and I kinda went overboard.

So I guess I have grandmother gene - just not the mommie one.

LOL

I have seven nephews and nieces. They're all great for about half a day. Then I get to come home without the screaming or hand prints all over my furniture.
