Been lifting seriously for a year now. Been cutting weight for the 8 of those 12 months. Went from 235lbs to 215lbs.
When I first started lifting seriously I was doing the following.
Bench max: 265
Squat max: 0 I started from nothing. Never used to squat
Deadlift : 0 Same thing. Never used to deadlift.
I currently have the following PR
Bench: ??? I don't bench anymore. Hurts my flexiability. I do sohp instead.
Squat: 300lbs
Deadlift: 345lbs conventional.
I weigh 215lbs at the moment and am still cutting weight.
Are my gains acceptable or am I going way too slow?
I typically do 5x5. Sometimes I would up my weight to 90% of my max and do 3reps instead.
