anything for energy?

Energy drinks and ginseng, and caffenine don't work for me at all. When i eat chocolate or something sweet, tasty, or satisfying i feel really good for like 10 minutes and then its gone. I found that the best way to combat this thing i have is orginization and being highly interested in everything you do, and laugh and smile. I feel good when im laughing and telling jokes because i forget that im tired, but when it comes to serious situations, or listening to someone, sometimes i can't even listen to jokes too tired, but again, not that i wanna sleep exactly but the kind of tired that you play on the computer for a long time. In class at school i just wanna sleep all the time and have to combat that and im very slow with taking notes and listening right away for a long period of time, not because im stupid just tired, yet if someone would have asked me lets play basketball i would have, so its hard to explain. Maybe i have sometype of imbalance maybe not enough adrenaline or something.

Hey tay, im in the same situation as you bro. Doctors say you are alright. Dad says you have to exercise in the morning, eat a good breakfast, exercise the brain with books, go to sleep everyday at the same time, don't over eat. But i still feel tired all the time and have to force myself to get out of bed. Its really hard to think sometimes always feel like i have watched TV for a long time. Its like a weird tiredness, that i can't concentrate not the kind of concentrate where you are thinking of many things just too tired too concentrate and have a really bad short term memory and have problems recalling facts and remembering words, names, directions, and communicating. Alot of times im really confused and slow when someone tells me something. But then again i have a good memory when it comes to memorizing a definition of a vocabulary word or a phone number, or the order of something and i have a good logic.

I always feel tired all day and just not happy also, yet I like to do things and laugh with friends. I really don't know what my problem is. I could be tired while sitting in a car or standing with my friends or in a classroom, the worst is after a movie in a theater or walking around a mall where there is a lot of people and talking, but i don't want to neccesarily sleep, just tired, hard to explain. Running does help in the morning. Im athletic though and wrestle and really healthy, yet i do have minor stomach problems and gas problems having stomach discomfort sometimes. So the doctor says that im ok. When i sleep less then 7 hours i feel really bad, extremely tired. Its horrible feeling. At night i don't want to go to sleep for some reason, at some point i do, but i make myself go to bed most of the times and it takes me like an hour to fall asleep laying in bed twisting and twirling. I really wish there was something i can do. I am interested in getting neurogenex, i heard that it gives you a very good memory and causes less sleep. That would be perfect for me, still confused about it.

Dang hit the nail right on the head. Thats me for ya and my diet i would say is very good compared to most people. I get in at least 1 g protein per lb. body weight and enough carbs and enough fat, but not to much. I eat before and after working out. Food doesent really help me i feel like i this even if i havent eatin in 3 days and ive done that many times, but not in the past few years. My motabolism is very slow i think and my stomach does not digest food. I think that may be most of the problem. Anything anyone can recommend for this?
 
Try to change your diet a little, maybe focus on your carbs for energy. If you feel you need more, Gaspari Superpump 250 or No Explode. Coffee or 200mg of caffiene like No Doze
 
Oh yeah i think i realized why i was so tired and the worst thing that could happen turned out good. I decided to smoke weed for the first time saturday and i found out i was supposed to take a drug test monday for a job, so i started drinking 3 gallons of water a day. I then instantly realized i had much more energy and since sunday its been that way im still tired sometimes, but much less and energy drinks work much better now. I always drink about 1 gallon a day, but apperantly that wasent enough. I just think i wasent getting enough nutrients from my food because my stomach is fucked up really bad. Food goes threw me in less than 4 hours and water has seemed to help a little bit.

Before you consider taking any stimulants, have a simple blood test performed so that you can check your Potassium levels. If you have had problems with prolonged periods of diarrhea in the past (I think you mentioned this) then it is possible that your potassium levels are low. Low potassium levels will make you feel fatigued and will make your muscles feel week. Your normal levles should be as follows:

Normal: 3.5 - 5.5 mEq/L (3.5 - 5.5 mmol/L)

Your intake should be at 4.7 grams per day. Your current intake may be sufficient but if you are also experiencing diarrhea at the same time then you will not be utilising your RDA. If you are deficient, then look to natural sources for Potassium:
  • fresh orange juice or an orange
  • tomato juice or a tomato
  • almonds
  • whole milk
  • salmon
  • chicken
  • turkey
  • banana
  • raisins
Ephedrine, Pseudoephedrine, Epinephrine, Diuretics, Penicillin and/or caffeine may all contribute to a potassium deficiency.

I had a blood test and it was fine i tryed finding it again to look at it though and couldent find it. I also eat like 4 bananas a day plus chicken and tuna and all that. Since ive been drinking 3 gallons of water a day ive been much better though.
 
Oh yeah i think spark totally blows i had some of that and i could have drank like the whole container and just felt sick. It tastes worse than koolaid and isent that cheap 99 cent energy drinks like rip are much better i would say almost as good as monster if they just tasted better.
