Anyone workout with kettlebells?

I found a new MMA joint (miletich houston) and they have a kettlebell class, so i tried it yesterday and must say its really different. But I can see how it benefits a martial arts program. Anyone else use kettlebells and what are your opinions?

These have been used by many martial artists but are definitely a great tool for bodybuilders (mainly strength trainers).

I have numerous studies on kettlebell training, if you are interested, I can e-mail them to you.

yes I do. I haveone in my room I use a 35lb one that I do a few exercises with every few days to strengthen things I don't hit in the gym. Awesome they are just really un and tough to work with.

Kettlebells are great for endurance.

Ironmind.com sells kettlebell handles where you can load up what weight you want instead of having to use 1 weight.

In special forces we use a ton of them (at least where I'm at). The current "in" thing to do in SF is crossfit. It's a really great way to build up muscular endurance and shed some pounds, and the kettlebells fit in great with the program.
