Anyone workout @ Gold's??

I want to get a membership there soon but don't want to get ripped off. How much should I be paying a month? I don't want a contract either. I know how some of these places scam you into paying more. Any advice?

I think that it all depends on who you talk to. I have a two year contract that allows me unlimited access to any of the four clubs in my city for $39.50 a month. A friend of mine has the same deal but pays $45.00 a month.

Hmm. Some guys on johnstonefitness.com told me they pay 25 a month. I am in N. Carolina and stuff is pretty cheap here(probably because this place sucks but anyway). I suppose it depends where you live too. Either way 40 bucks isnt too bad. I was paying 27 a month at my last gym so I'd like to keep it around that.

No golds in my area. only those big fitness facilities!
the smaller gyms are better. I'd say not more than 45$ a month.

Im a member of Gold's, but Ive been for 9 years basically. When I started at Gold's Gym it was under the name of Nautilous (before it changed over) and membership was 38$ a month. Recently theyve had a deal where you put 300$ down and lock in membership at 15$ a month. Thats what I did. They still have it going on in the 4 main Gold's Gym locations around my area. Might want to look for that deal. Hope that helps

Mine is $39.00/month no money down. This is in the DC area. It may change based on location. Mine aloows me the use of several local facilities.

the one i go to is like 33 a month... and if the rates go up, i keep my rate for life.


i cant say which gym tho casue then people will hunt me down and laugh and point at my small ass....its in dc area tho
