Every cop I know changes location every 30 mins or so (or use unmarked cars). And no one ever has problems finding people speeding. Besides, all thehy gotta do is instlal highway speed cameras and boom, everyone gets busted!

fortunately these are not legal in every state

it also keeps tract of mobile speed cameras (you can log as live location, but im not sure how long it remains "live"), as well as red light cameras etc and seems like a good alternative to radar detectors for truckers

a lot of people notice they actually drive slower and pay more attention when running trapster.

Arizona has speed cameras along I-10 in the Phoenix area... I remember hearing about a site that shows exactly where they are. The easiest way to get out of those, which I did, is not to have the registered owner driving the car. Our truck is in my wife's name, and I was driving it through there and got a +10mph ticket from a camera. When the ticket came, she just checked the box "I was not driving the vehicle", and just wrote my name as the driver, but didn't say I was her husband or any personal info. Never hear from them again. Nearly a year now...

I read something this morning that those mobile speed vans may become illegal in AZ this year. Hopefully that will happen.

i never speed in town. . .never have. . .i like living in a user-friendly community, and i try to lead by example. . .speeding in town is dangerous, ignorant and downright un-neighborly. . .i hate when people speed in my neighborhood. . .i want to chop their fucking asses up and feed them to my useless fucking cat. . .

why do u put spaces in between the periods?

there are no periods. . .except at the end. . .that's kinda the way my brain works. . .plus it encourages the reader to contemplate my thoughts in their independent and interdependent form. . .much like they were formulated in my own brain. . .it gives you a peek of what's going on inside my head. . .scary, yes?? :)

The one that got me was permanently mounted. They have signs ahead of time, to tell you there are speed cameras, but they don't say exactly where. I didn't even know they had mobile ones... That's worse! That's almost as bad as the exhaust cameras in California, where they send you a letter that your registration is revoked if your car is making any fumes.

yeah they are cameras mounted on a pole ontop of a Chevy trailblazer/dodge durango lookin thing. Best view is at 25 seconds. You can hear in the background the guys Trapster equipped phone/gps alert him that it is a police hiding place favorite at few seconds into the video when he starts talking.
