I found it to be incredibly stupid that a race as advanced as ones being able to travel faster then light, could be content with eating cat food, and living in the ghetto and not rebelling sooner.....

Even the strongest most advanced of civilizations need a leader, and that they didnt have.... (see 75th answer)

And Scotsman is right. If you look into the history of the different entities in south Africa, shit like that actually happens....except they're not from another planet

I still think it was understated even as you said, and the dots should have been connected more obviously for the audience.

I will say the last minutes did get me curious to when they come back...........

will they be merciful of compassionate?
Also when they fix the guy , how will he treat his wife, and family who abandoned him.....

So every story should be oversimplified just so people who don't understand how to connect a premise can feel better about themselves?

He was an enlightened slave hence the lack of support from his fellow xenomorphs.

Were it me it would be a mission to extract my people and exact a certain level of vengeance for the medical experiments and exploitation.
