I train to Metallica about 80% of the time.

The other 20% of the time consists of some Kid Rock, Guns N Roses, POD, Puya, Ozzy, Slipknot, Static X, Fear Factory and old MegaDeth.

Kid Rock, Guns, Metallica.....pretty much the same.......disturbed, POD, Def leppard, Fear factory,Slayer......but the classics like guns and metallica always reign supreme!!!!!!!!!

BTW.....any one catch WWF Tough Enough...the soundtracks kinda buff........but could ne one tell me the music(band and name of song) that they played at the end in the final where Maven and Nidia got presented with their awards......it RULED!!!!!!

As for music I trust in my 101 Proof Pantera CD full of shit to pump you up, especially try "Mouth for the war" . throw in some ozzy, disturbed, Six Feet Under i also suggest that are has the guitarist of obituary and Chris Barnes formerly of Cannibal Corpes really fast upbeat and violent.

yeah, hardcore rules!!!
i have to admit that i don't know many hardcore bands, but those i know are awesome!

i'll download some songs of the bands you named, i'm in search of good hardcore all the time

do you know ryker's? i ask because usually people who are into hardcore don't know them (they are a german band, but they don't exist anymore ), and they simply rule, they aren't that fast but plain and simple powerfull!!!

Well if you can oper yer mind a little bit, System of a down is really FAST metal (in certain songs). Lots of hardcore screaming and distortion, i like it just as I am coming off of my 15 min cardio warmup. But i have to agree, disturbed, metallica, and godsmack are all good motivators.
