Anyone here workout/lift with their girl?

You should be shot for even thinking such a thing.

First of all, I have yet to meet a woman who could keep up with one of my workouts... if I found one, that wasn't married, with a boyfriend, or gay... I'd marry her on the spot.

She's never really been on any type of training split before but she recently lost quite a bit of BF on her own from diet and cardio. My old training partner can no longer work out in the evenings so Iiv've taken like the last 3-4 weeks off. I practically live with my girl and we're like best friends so I thought it would be cool, we could kinda motivate each other. And since I pretty much live with her we could motivate each other on the whole diet thing as well. I think we're going to try working out together at first and if that doesnt work we'll do it on our one. If nothing else the membership ($30/mo)will pay off for her if she only tans and does a little cardio 4 days a week.

My girlfriend and I are best friends. Also, she hates cardio and has to be coerced into periodizing lighter weights.(anything light enough for more that 7 reps she does not like) She often wears me down during a workout by not waiting long enough between sets.(for me) In other words, she´s fucking weird.

Only difference I have noticed is that she can take a bit longer to recover fully between workouts and there can be balance issues on the squat due to the female hip structure.

I used to think it pure insanity to train with a girlfriend. Still do.
 
i workout with a girl ive been really close with for years but shes not my gf... and sometimes i work out with my sister- but no gf workout partners yet
 
My wife and I go to the same gym, but there has only been a few times that we cross path's during our work out. For the most part it's nice to be there together but we do not do the same work out. Give it a chance and if does not work just do what we do then.
 
I like working out with my partner. We did the same exact workout only my weights were less. I liked everything he did, so it worked out great me doing the same thing. We had a day for chest, legs, back, arms I think..I'm on my own now for a while for obvious reasons so I'm making up my workout as I go. Wish he was there with me.
He would insult me before I had to lift something heavy to get me mad and it always worked..I tried it on my gf and made her cry...lol Some girls aren't made for lifting anything heavy and prefer the cardio...which I hate hate hate. I looked my best working out with him.
