Anyone Hear/See Condoleezza Rice Get Skewered?

yes, she is a monkey for the admin which is very sad for black people. bush picks hardline minority's to make himself look better

All Sec of State are tools for the admin, that's why Bush is the President and everyone else works for him. Any of you people have a job? Guess what? You're tools for your bossess too.

I think she'll do pretty well.


As to her race...what seems genuinely sad is that Bush has now had 2 black sec of states - meaning effectively that the face of diplomacy to foreign leaders from the US is an African American, and yet blacks vote overwhelmingly Democrat.

Anyone want to name some prominent blacks in Clinton's adminsitration? :)

I thought Clinton considered the first black president. I think it's sort of obvious that Bush handpicked a few blacks so the Republican party can boast about their diversity.

All BS aside, his welfare reform policies were what earned him that label.

If you want to fly the diverstiy flag, the way to do it is to get a few minorities on your staff in positions like "Assistant Sec. of Housing for the Southeast", where it does not matter how they do.

If you are a president who has agitated much of the world, invaded the rest of it, and strained our historical allies, you don't put anyone but people you trust in jobs like Sec of State. Bush has picked two competent people for these jobs...who cares that they are black? But don't call them tokens.

Collin Powell was so out of the loop it was laughable. Rice is nothing but a lying mouth piece that will say whatever Bush & Co. want her to say and she will contridict herself without any consideration which she did time and time again as NSA.

The Republican party never talks about the Bush administration's diversity. It only comes up in conversation when the Democrats (the champions of diversity) challenge Bush's minority selections for cabinet positions or federal judges. It seems that the Dems feel like Powell and Rice aren't black enough. Speaking for myself, I think it would be a bad thing for the Secretary of State to speak in ebonics. The fact is that any racial or ethnic minority that aspires to a cabinet-level position is going to have to achieve a very high level of education and practical experience. That is--sell out to the white slave masters. The Liberals' wet dream of having a Snoop Dogg-type character in a prominent position just isn't going to happen.
 
John Stewart is hilarious although he can stay too left of center for too long. He should rip the dems more, but I guess the republicans give him far more ammo to make jokes about.

I agree he almost makes alot sense sometimes, hes got a good delivery and truly makes me laugh sometimes. That one vegan guy that ran for president that always came in dead last but stayed in the race way too long made me laugh, but more in the pathetic sense, I cant remember his name for the life...kinda a smarmy looking guy. Course Im biased, my last gf was vegan, drove me nuts, we lived together and I had to eat vegan cuz nothing was allowed in the house that we lived in. I mean even it had a minute amount of protein from anything other than a plant was off limits. uggghhh

Did you see when he called republican Tucker Carlson on cnns crossfire, dammit I just forgot what he called him, something like boner asshole cant think of it right now. Someone help me out its driving nuts now.

I just saw a quick clip of it didnt watch the whole scene play out, doesnt surprise me, Carlson is very articulate with a quick wit even if he is a dick sometimes. I miss the days of Pat Buchanan on crossfire you never knew what he was going to say and Paul Begala is a douchebag almost all the time now, just something about the way he smartasses questions with that cheesy grin he had, even on topics I agree with him, he still bugs me. I cant watch that show anymore.

That entire clip is located higher up in the thread. Stewart owned Carlson. You could tell carlson was getting fucking pissed. Yea the last thing Jon Stewart said was "Why are you such a dick?"

Stewart's point was that CNN is doing a disservice by not reporting news more effectively, and he is correct. There was no debate over right/left politics during that encounter.

Carlson is a jackass...glad to see him go.

yeah, that's true.............the clips i saw were shown on Carlson's own show, a nice edit job where he was supposedly beating up on Stewart.

Im using an emachine right now, cant download clips sux ass LOL! Or itll take forever I wont even dare, judging by how slow it downloads still pictures Ill check it out later on a different computer.
